With this smart battery charger, charging empty batteries becomes a small effort. The charger with splash-proof casing is suitable for 6 V/12 V lead-acid batteries and 12 V LiFePO4 batteries. Moreover, the trickle charger ensures that the battery stays charged because if a battery is not charged, it will become too deeply discharged and break down over time. The trickle charger keeps the battery active by pulsing (i.e. trickle-wise) charging. Thus, it ensures that the battery remains well maintained. In addition, the trickle charger offers protection against overload, short circuit and overheating. Battery failures due to charging errors and misconnection are excluded. Operation is simple: choose the desired charging programme and battery charging or maintenance is fully automatic in 8 steps. That starts with recognising the type of battery, as well as its (residual) capacity, in order to determine the right maintenance and repair programme. This process ends with trickle charging (maintenance charging).The compact battery charger is easy to connect thanks to the insulated battery terminals and the LEDs display the status of the battery.
